Experience the Hankook Optimo K715

The Hankook Optimo K715 is an all-rounder, wet and dry summer tyre made for compact passenger cars. It features a computer-simulated pattern, so the driver enjoys impressive handling, comfort and wet driving performance. Safety is essential to Hankook, and the Optimo K715 prevents hydroplaning by using a four straight channel design that quickly disperses and drains all water. It guarantees superior cornering and dry condition driving with its upgraded tyre bead or the edge of a tyre that sits on the wheel. The K715's shoulder area is cleverly reinforced by a tie bar that helps the tyre maintain its rigidity, thereby improving handling. Hankook also employs Optimised Pitch Sequencing by arranging tread blocks in different pitch sizes and distributing the noise over a wider area, reducing it all together. Optimised Pitch Sequencing thus enables the Optimo K715 to have very low levels of tyre roar or noise for a more comfortable ride.

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

460 A A

•  460 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Hankook Optimo K715 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
