They're really good all rounders, good in the wet, fun in the dry, wear quite well on a bigger family car

Overall much quieter than the continental tyres I had before and a much smoother ride. Great in all conditions, keeps traction in the wet.

Great value for money performance tyre for road use. Holds up well on the wet with good traction. Even better on the dry. Response on steering feels great. Tread wear yet to be determined so I gave it 3/5 stars but so far holding up after a couple spirited drives with a decent tread wear rating. Being a soft sidewall ride comfort is surprisingly comfy giving a softer ride than more pricier options out there. This tyre is definitely designed for the wet. But be wary of hydroplaning on large patches/puddles on heavy rain conditions. Track use should be avoided as this tyre overheats on hard cornering on prolonged times. Should only be used on the road.

These tires are a good mix of price and performance, good everyday tire that won’t break the bank and doesn’t have bad road noise. Not as good as Michelin Pilot Sports but last a lot lot longer.

Quietness and ride comfort match other more expensive tyres l have used in the past. They "balanced up" with hardly any balance wheel weights.

Previous tyre (Michelin 88V) same size as the Hankook are good for the money but I have had the back end of my car slide at least 3 times since being fitted, compared to basically none with the Michelin. Other than that, they seem to be a reasonable tyre.

They are showing very little signs of wear and still look good

My new tyres have been fitted to my rear wheels and have covered about 6000 miles and are showing no sign of wear. I purchased these tyres as when I purchased the car it had 2 new ones on the front the same which have covered 2600 miles and still have 3mm of tread left, I shall soon be purchasing 2 more the same to replace them. I'm very happy with these tyres.

What's the Pros And Cons?

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120 UTQG 320 AA A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

320 AA A

•  320 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  AA Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
