Love my new tyres. I would definitely recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S to anyone who has a Subaru BRZ or a Toyota 86 GTS. I have a Subaru BRZ and my partner has a Toyota 86 GTS and we both have new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. It's like these tyres were made specifically for these cars, they stick like shit to a blanket. Probably the best tyres I've ever purchased. I also have a HSV GTO, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to performance tyres. Seriously awesome tyres.

I really wanted 265 40 17 but they were not available, I have these on a BMW Alpina B10 as the original tire combination and they are hugely superior to any other brand I have tried on this car.

I have had a preference to drive on Michelin tyres for many years going right back to 1970s on Michelin XAS 175*13inch. I have used michelin on many different vehicle and various conditions over the years. I find michelin tyres are reliable and predictable, they keep hanging on without sudden loss of traction like some brands do. Michelin have good grip in all weather conditions and perform well in the wet maintaining performance even when nearing minimum tread. Wear mileage is good.

Why This Tyre?

What's the Pros And Cons?

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 UTQG 320 AA A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

320 AA A

•  320 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  AA Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is a Silent Tyre
