Experience the Pirelli Pzero System Asimmetrico

The Pzero System Asimmetrico is a unique max performance summer tyre from Italian tyre maker Pirelli. Designed as two separate sets of tyres, the P Zero System Asimmetrico includes a set of directional tyres in front - to slice through surface water with an arrow-shaped tread and wide longitudinal grooves, while the back set of asymmetric treads use three distinct, specialised-tread areas to grip the road and provide high speed stability. The System's block design features a compact external area for more lateral rigidity, increasing high speed handling. The tyre has a highly durable construction, with twin steel belts with nylon caps and rayon casing for strength, tread stability, and more responsive handling. The System is a very specialised tyre, and is an outstanding choice for mid or rear-engine cars to take advantage of its rear grip and high torque capabilities.

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

140 A A

•  140 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Pirelli Pzero System Asimmetrico is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
