They performed particularly well over the winter when we had snow and ice. The grip is excellent and gave me confidence while driving in dodgy conditions, especially on the high level routes in the highlands where road clearing and gritting is not a priority. I drove steadily on while others were sliding off the road. The tyres are great in the wet as well - and we've had plenty of that this last year too. I lose a few mpg over the summer months compared to slicks but it is worth it for the grip in poor weather and saves having to change over to winter tyres each autumn.

They are great. There is a very slight loss of fuel economy compared to driving only summer tyres but that is far outweighed by the better grip and performance year round.

The difference in feel is amazing. I hadn't realised quite how poorly the old tyres were performing until I felt the car with these ones. I've now driven with them in snow, ice and rain as well as on dry roads and they've given superb road-holding capability.
